The Environmental Services Department of the City of Springfield, MO released an annual special center-spread section in their city-wide neighborhood newsletter. It highlighted core programs and tips for citizens that were most impactful during that specific season.
The chosen art direction focused on a simple, yet interesting aesthetic that would be attention-grabbing for all ages while still retain the departments developed branding and utilize existing brand assets. I helped with the selection and development of content, vector illustration of images, type design, and layout for the full edition of each season: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
